Elliot B. Ross

Elliot B. Ross is the co-founder of The MFL Group, a boutique consulting firm that assisted clients in developing and implementing profitable growth strategies for over 20 years. He was previously a partner and head of McKinsey & Company’s worldwide marketing practice. During his 15-year tenure at McKinsey & Company, he became its thought leader in proactive pricing management, authoring articles in several journals, including the Harvard Business Review and the Wall Street Journal. Elliot currently serves and has served on the Boards of both public and private companies. He serves on the Advisory Boards of both the College of Engineering and Department of Materials Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. Elliot is a member of the Visiting Committee of Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Prior to founding MFL, Elliot was President and Director of State Industrial Products, a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemical and hardware products. He also held positions of Chief Operating Officer and Director at Essef Corporation (NASDAQ) during which the company grew to over $300 million in four years (in excess of 34% per year). He founded Inverness Partners and grew Inverness Castings Group (Co-Chairman and co-CEO) into a leading $70 million tier I automotive supplier. He was selected by Inc. magazine as regional manufacturing entrepreneur of the year. Elliot was the Director of Dunn Paper and served as a Director of the Stephan Company (AMX). He was also Director and Chairman of the Board of Gevity HR, Inc. (NASDAQ). Elliot holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the College of Engineering at The Ohio State University and earned and a M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
