Professor Akbar's research areas and areas of expertise
My expertise is electronic and ionic transport in oxides. Examples of my current work involves synthesis-microstructure-property relationship of ceramic bulk, thin-film and nanostructures for electrochemical devices (sensors, fuel cells) and biomedical applications.
