What does it mean to be a Buckeye?

To be a Buckeye means to give back to the community that we call home. Leaders, volunteers, innovators and trailblazers coexist to make this powerful community. Buckeyes embody resiliency and courage to be the best possible versions of themselves. Buckeyes constantly stand for what they believe in, continually advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion. The Ohio State University is a family with many traditions and half a million alumni. I am honored and proud to wear scarlet and gray.

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by Ohio State faculty, staff and alumni. The scores from the application and interview are combined to determine the members of the 2022 Homecoming Court.

Voting for Royal Buckeyes closed on September 25. The winners will be announced during pre-game on Saturday 1, 2022.
