Abstract

This 30 minute presentation offers an introduction to the mission and goals of suicide prevention and our program, explains the many important suicide prevention efforts and initiatives happening on campus, shares a few basic facts about suicide, and helps students, staff, and faculty learn how they can join us in creating a campus culture of care at OSU.

This seminar is optional for our graduate students though all are encouraged to attend, whether enrolled in 7895 or not.

*NOTE: This presentation will not train students, staff, and faculty how to recognize and respond to signs of suicide and is not the same type of presentation as a REACH suicide prevention gatekeeper training. Please visit https://suicideprevention.osu.edu/reach/ to schedule a 90 minute REACH training to learn those skills.
