Use of Zoom video conferencing

GPO home Schedule | MSE & WE | OSU & Columbus | Using Zoom

“CarmenZoom”—an enterprise version of Zoom branded for Ohio State—permits video conferencing. It allows a host to share audio and desktop presentations to a large number of people anywhere there is a stable internet connection. It also allows participants to interact via talk/text with the group or host.

After clicking the Zoom Meeting link, a browser window will open and a pop-up box appear asking “Open Zoom Meetings? Click “Open Zoom Meetings”. You may also be asked to save a file to your computer to open the Zoom session.

Guests typically enter a meeting with both the video and audio muted. You may unmute each by clicking in the lower left on the audio and/or video icons.
