Apply to the Welding Engineering major

Students who have been admitted to Ohio State indicating Welding Engineering as their area of interest will be enrolled as a Pre-Welding Engineering students in the College of Engineering.

Students may apply for admission to the Welding Engineering major by November 1, before beginning the major courses in the Spring term (usually at the end of the sophomore year).

• Please refer to the Welding Engineering Standards of Academic Performance found under Forms.
   
• Additional prerequisite courses also are necessary before students may continue in the major.
  Please refer to the WE curriculum sheet, and meet with the academic advisor for more information.

  Submit the completed form to the Undergraduate Academic Advisor in 477 Watts Hall by November 1.
